In April 2026, Range Rover delivered one of the brand's most compelling domestic activations to date: a premium, exclusive Range Rover Sport track experience at Hampton Downs Motorsport Park.
PERFORMANCE WITHOUT COMPROMISE
Across three days, invited guests were given the rare opportunity to push every single Range Rover Sport variant to its limits on one of New Zealand's premier race circuits. With the Range Rover Sport SV headlining the event, this was a halo moment for the Range Rover Sport nameplate and a powerful demonstration of what performance with composure truly means.
THE OCCASION
Hampton Downs Motorsport Park, a world-class, internationally graded circuit in the Waikato, provided the ideal stage. Its flowing layout, mix of high-speed straights and technical corners challenged drivers of all skill levels, ensuring every guest felt the true breadth of what the Range Rover Sport can do.
Each session accommodated up to 18 drivers rotating through three distinct drive activities: Track Laps, Dynamic Drives and a Light Off-Road Loop, each designed to demonstrate the true breadth and capability of Range Rover Sport.

STAR OF THE SHOW: RANGE ROVER SPORT SV
The MY26 Range Rover Sport SV was the undisputed centrepiece of the event and rightfully so. Producing 635PS and capable of 0–100 km/h in just 3.9 seconds, the SV delivers supercar-level performance wrapped in the refined composure that defines every Range Rover. Guests were given expert-led insight into what sits beneath that performance, an advanced suspension system, the most sophisticated in its class, engineered to deliver precise handling and composure even under the intense demands of track driving. Working in concert with the SV's airflow-enhanced design, the result is a vehicle that looks purposeful and performs with absolute conviction.
